At one time(really long time ago) I wanted to try cg art, but my mind changed when I found I had a hidden talent. Touba Guerroumi replies: "Yeah, I still don’t think that I’ve ever come across art that has higher quality than the one made by da Vinci and we all know that he didn’t use a computer.
Haha, hidden talent! Well, you’re absolutely great at what you do. I never settled for any specific stile, which is why I can draw a lot of different things, but not as good as people who’ve done it for a couple of years. I might stick with this one though, but I’ve only drawed this way for about half a year. (The fairy is made in this stile, only now I’ve got hang of proprtions a bit better.) "

Touba Guerroumi replies: "Oh, I see. They seem really wonderful and I wished that I could let my mice out like that, but they would only chew things to bits and make a mess. "
| 23 Sep 2008 | Theresa Sturgeon | Loading...LOL Sugar that is her name,, does chew on some things, lol but she mostly likes to climb and see how high she can get,,then glides back to me for a grape,,they eat frozen veggies, fruit,,, meal worms lol,,, their neat critters, if you ever get a chance look them up on the enternet. They resemble in some ways a little monkey,,, with their little hands,,,and very long tails,,,,I might paint her one day and put her on here,,for the fun of it.... Touba Guerroumi replies: "Ah, they look adorable (I just looked it up) and Sugar is as great name. I never name any of my mice, but two were named Simon and Lars after my lazy classmates, by a third classmate and then a nother guy named my oldest female Befana Zerstörer de la Rocha.
My mice like to climb down the collar of my shirt, put thier sharp claws in my back and slowly slide downwards. And thier favorite food seems to be cereals, even though they eat pretty much anything and anyone..."

Hur mar du? Min svavare ar full med alar! Jagkan bara litet svenska. Jag blir nervos nar jag ska tala svenska. Ha det bra!
Vi ses!
Ok I looked those phrases up on line. I don’t know any swedish, but I will some day. Thanks for speaking english, your efforts are appreciated!
Love the mermaid/merman too! The tail is really cool. I love that you gave it multiple fins.
Peace!
Vi ses senare. Touba Guerroumi replies: "Hahaha! "My hoovercraft is full with eel"?
English is such a great language, I think it has 300.000 words, or so (Swedish only has around 200.000). Now that think about it, Swedish is completely useless unless one actually lives in Sweden.
And mr Merman is really a modest thing in comparison to the wonderful things you do.
Ah well, untill next time."
| 16 Nov 2008 | Joel N. Barkley | Loading...You know, when I was looking up swedish words on the internet I came across a website that advertised "commonly used swedish phrases". On this website I saw " My hovercraft is full of eels." So after I stopped laughing, I wondered what life must be like in Sweden: does everyone drive a hovercraft? and why would they be driving through eel infested waters? I am glad to see that you thought it was funny too! Touba Guerroumi replies: "Good question, but I don’t know why would anyone drive through eel infested waters. Then again, human beings have done stranger things through the course of history. However I assure you; Sweden is not like a planet of it’s own and people here only take thier hoovercrafts out for a ride on very special occations... " | |
| 18 Nov 2008 | Joel N. Barkley | Loading...I hope that you understand my humor, it is important to me to be sure you know I mean no offense when I talk about the hoovercraft of Sweden. First off, I have no idea what a hoovercraft is. Really. I assume that it is a boat of some kind, but before when I was joking around, I was coming from the perspective that a hovercraft was a space age vehicle that floated above the ground like a ufo. Secondly, I thought it was hovercraft, but you are writing hoovercraft, so I must rely on you to explain this reality to me. (Some times I can be totally dense or dimwitted.)
With respect,
Joel Touba Guerroumi replies: "Not once did I ever even consider the posibility that you were making fun of Sweden and it’s inhabitants and even if you were, that wouldn’t bother me. I’m only accountable for my own actions.
And of course I misspelled hovercraft, despite the word being spelled properly right in front in me. Hovercrafts are vehicles mainly used by the military. Simplyfied, it’s like a board that can lift above the ground because of air being pushed towards the ground through a hole in the board, creating an air pocket between the ground, board and the so called flexible skirt that is attached to the board (like mobile walls).
